~ Inducted 1994Mr. Cullen, a native of Cranston, became a highly successful Director of Athletics and basketball coach for 29 years at Community College of Rhode Island. He organized that school’s first basketball team, and served as its’ first and only top athletic administrator. His teams won more than 500 games, a record for collegiate coached in our state. He has been nationally recognized in his field and has received numerous honors on national, regional, and local levels.
