Joanne Carner

~ Inducted 1969

Ms. Carner was a five time national women's amateur golf champion, and won the Rhode Isalnd title three times, as well as the New England and Eastern championships. She also won a professional-amateur tournament that included most of the top women professionals in the field. At one point she was thought to be the best female golfer in the world.
