~ Inducted 1979Mr. Alston, of Providence,RI, was a designer for the Institute of Heraldry, Department of the Army. He designed many distinctive insignias, flags, badges, and medals for all branches of the U.S. government and the Armed Forces. His oil and water color paintings were exhibited throughout the United States.
