G. William Miller, 1925-2006, served as United States Secretary of the Treasury and former Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, and President of Textron.&nbsp; President Carter nominated him as Chairman of the United States Federal Reserve Board prior to his appointment as Secretary of the Treasury.
